Shanelle Johnson
Shanelle is responsible for maintaining, improving, renovating, and expanding Urban Hope’s portfolio of residential properties by both managing capital improvement and new construction projects. She will also be responsible for managing the existing upkeep of our rental properties.
Shanelle has over 7 years’ experience in kitchen/bath design, sales, and construction project management. Her ability to think outside the box and knowledge of on-trend building methods has enabled her to find design solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. Prior to project management, her background includes working with both adolescents and adults in Mental Health Services. Shanelle’s experience in this field has helped her gain compassion and understanding for those who require an extra boost to be successful. Through her position with Urban Hope Shanelle is excited to utilize her expertise not only in project management but to make a difference in the lives of others.
Shanelle was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and enjoys city life. She currently resides in Richmond’s Northside with her husband. They are proud parents to three children, a loving granddaughter and three dogs. In her free time she enjoys hosting events for family and friends, woodwork, gardening, fishing and all things nature-related.
